Lael turned 2 at the end of June!! How can this be??? Time is moving so fast!
Her favorite character right now is Pooh... Her cake turned out fabulously!! I was able to make and decorate all but the actual pooh character while she was asleep. She woke up and sat and watched as I finished his face... Saying, "EAT!!" The whole time;)
She started off with breakfast pancakes... with candles to blow out. (which she LOVED!!) We spread her presents out over the entire day... Making the day extra special, just a few at a time, so she could enjoy them and not feel like she had to quickly open them all and not register her happiness over each.
Poor Eli was very good at expressing his feelings... He gently said at one point that it was hard to not want to open a present when you saw someone else opening theirs.
Then, Tim's family came up for cake;)
A little motorcycle cop action before blowing out candles...
As she sat down and looked at her cake... She yelled out, "Pooh!!!" She had no problem blowing out her candles!
We got her a Pooh bear for her birthday... Oh how exciting... Here she created a space just for him...
Our happy 2 year old;)
A couple of days later, we presented her with an early Gotcha day present.... Oh my! She finally got the pedaling down and she loves to ride around on her bike.
