Trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house

We traveled to Mom and Dad's a few days later to pick up Eli.  We also were going to exchange beds with my mom.  As we were sitting down to eat the first evening, I happened to see Eli's gap where his tooth came out.  No wonder it came out with a tomato slice!! His new tooth was already partially in!!

After breakfast the next day, we went to the playground to hang out.  Eli, with his new gaping grin...


And Lael, who wouldn't pose for any photograph... had to "catch" her mid stride...






The bouncing animals are always a hit!!





Basketball, anyone??


We swapped out beds and brought Eli and Lael's new, smaller bed home.  Here is the finished effect... much more space in her little room with a smaller bed, and Mom now has more room for all her married kids with families to come home and visit:)

Note... it was just about this time that Lael realized possession.  She learned the word, "Mine!" and what it really means.  She has started to go to items and objects and will look at me and ask, "Mine?" She did this to almost every item in her room after I told her this was her new bed.
