Day one, morning

We woke to overcast skies and rain tho morning... What a great day for sleeping in... At least past 4 or so when it is starting to become light...

I got breakfast ready and woke Lael up around 7:30... Her usual time to get up. She was soon changed, dressed and eating breakfast as we skyped with Eli.

She still doesn't quite know what to make of it all. Since breakfast she has been so fussy... And a little warm.. We both have commented how surprised we were that they would give her vaccination shots the day before she leaves the baby home.

It has been a great introduction to parenthood;) and for those who wondered when we said she never fussed or cried when we visited... She has shown us she is quite capable of both;)

Last night, around 11, the cold water was shut off. We still have hot water... Very hot:( but we are able to draw hot water to at least flush the toilet.

Thank you for your continued prayers as our sweet little girl transitions from all she has ever known and the kind hearted caregiver she has seemed to be bonded with so well. We covet your prayers as we try our best to comfort our sweet baby;)
