After a little snack and some play time, she was sleepy again, so she and I danced a little while while Tim was watching the construction workers out in front of the hotel. The traffic and pedestrians are not blocked... The men don't have any hard hats and the crane is swinging back and forth a few feet from other workers heads. Amazing there aren't a ton of injuries!! It is like this everywhere we have been.
She slept for a little while and woke up just before the baby doctor, Boris, arrived. Isn't that nice???!!??? The baby Dr came to the hotel room instead of us having to travel to him.
He was very kind and sweet with Lael. He was surprised she didn't cry at him... He was kinda stocky, thick salt and pepper hair, glasses and a thin mustache. His voice was deep and rumbly, and his manner quite gentle.
He gave her a thorough examination and answered several questions we had with excellent English and great suggestions. We really enjoyed meeting and working with him.
All that was finished by 8, and since Phillip wasn't due to arrive to pick up medical form from Dr Boris until 9, we went to breakfast.
It was our trial period to get an idea of how Lael will do with eating out. It went really well;) only a few angry screams when I put food in my mouth instead of hers.
It is quiet now, only the distant sounds of construction on the floor below us and outside. Tim took Lael for a walk so I could catch up the blog and rest for a second.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that she loves me so much already!! Though it does make taking care of ones self a bit more difficult.

When they got back a bit ago, she was out!! Hopefully she can catch up on some sleep;)
Amazing how much constant focus on a little one, especially during travel, drains ones reserves. I have been sleeping very well... Hardly able to keep my eyes open;) It has become more necessity than tradition with me the last few days;)
Can't wait to see what the day holds;) maybe a long walk to Red Square;) gotta have our pic in front of St Basils;)
Thank you, God, for your constant provision. For going ahead of us and clearing the way, making our paths straight.
